Vucko is staying with us!

Since this Sunday evening, we are no longer with the three of us: Stephan Vuckovic ( silver medal OS Sydney) is staying in our condo for 4 days. Afterwards, he will join Thomas Hellriegel, when the latter arrives in Hawaii. Sofie and I got acquainted to Stephan and Thomas during some training camps in Club La Santa in Lanzarote. We are going along quite well, that’s why we thought it was a good idea to host Stephan for a few days. And that way Tille now has yet another playing mate. I hope Stephan’s girlfriend will not be jealous: Tille is following him everywhere. Even in his bedroom, he is not safe from her!
This week, I read on a forum that somebody found that my life as a triathlete was rather boring. A little reaction to that statement: First of all, in the last 3 years, I have experienced more than what an average triathlete will live through in his entire life. So please believe me: I prefer this boring life to all those miseries. Moreover, life is a little boring over here indeed. I am sitting here on a fantastic island for 5 weeks with my wife and daughter. I am training every day in a beautiful sun and in an idyllic scenery. And then, to finish off the day, I am playing a little with Sofie and Tille in the swimming pool. You have to agree that a nine-to-five job in rainy Belgium gives more satisfaction. -:)
I am going to bed now, because tomorrow morning I have planned a swim training in the ocean, together with Stephan. I’d better sleep well, otherwise I will not be able to follow him.

Haha, geweldige reply.
Wees er maar zeker van dat er velen vanachter hun bureautje jouw situatie enorm benijden. Ik in ieder geval wel. Veel succes gewenst en geniet van alles wat je ginder meemaakt.
